Enterprise Software Sales Representative

Theorem Geo is looking for a motivated Sales Representative with at least 5 – 7 years of experience selling enterprise software. The purpose of this position is to grow revenue by closing new customers or expanding existing opportunities with current customers. Target markets to include utilities, transportation, construction, real estate, as well as other industries.

As a Theorem Geo Sales Representative, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of our company and our technology. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities
(including, but are not limited to)

  • Identify a target list of new accounts and key contacts.
  • Consistently find new opportunities and new customers
  • Developing and maintaining a qualified sales pipeline
  • Accelerate customer adoption
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Expect moderate travel
  • Adept at ensuring that all business, financial/procurement and IT decision makers and influencers are effectively included in successful sales cycles to reduce sales cycle time.
  • Working closely with technical team and sales team on reaching goals and objectives
  • Effectively present a business-driven proposal as needed to convince the business level, user level and financial level decision makers why this solution should be purchased now and not from your competitors.
  • Present the business case that aligns to customer needs as defined during the qualification phase.
  • Align scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Close sales timely in enough volume to meet annual business objectives.
  • Winning sales to meet and exceed new revenue objectives
  • Expect moderate travel

Required Skills/Experience

  • A self-starter, results driven – can work autonomously
  • 5+ years of technology or enterprise software sales experience (utility industry experience a plus)
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales metrics and revenue goals
  • Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
  • Experience in positioning and selling technology in new customers and new market segments
  • Experience in proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer’s business
  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Expect moderate travel
